Southeast Economic Development Fund Celebrates a Strong 2025 Supporting Local Entrepreneurs and Smal

The Southeast Economic Development Fund, Inc. is celebrating a year of meaningful impact in 2025, marked by strong support for entrepreneurs, startups, and small businesses throughout the region.

Over the course of the year, the organization hosted 32 educational workshops, providing business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs with practical tools, training, and guidance to strengthen their operations and plan for growth. These workshops served as a critical resource for individuals navigating the challenges of starting and sustaining a business.

In addition to education, the Southeast Economic Development Fund made a direct financial impact through lending efforts. The fund also provided $135,807 in loans to small businesses, helping local companies invest in equipment, operations, and expansion.

These combined efforts contributed to 10 jobs created through training and lending programs, reinforcing the organization’s mission to strengthen local economies and create opportunities across Southeast Missouri.

As the organization looks ahead, the Southeast Economic Development Fund remains committed to supporting economic growth by connecting entrepreneurs with education, capital, and resources designed to foster long-term success.
