Shared Blessings Transitional Housing Ministry is inviting the community to make a meaningful difference through “The Gala That Gives,” a unique fundraising campaign where every seat is empty—but every heart is full.
Instead of purchasing tickets and attending a traditional banquet, supporters are encouraged to stay home and change lives by making a tax-deductible donation toward the organization’s new Opportunity Center. The facility will allow Shared Blessings to provide shelter, support, and renewed hope to more men, women, veterans, families, and children throughout the region.
Since transitioning to transitional housing in 2013, Shared Blessings has received 7,660 applications and served 876 people in-house, including 216 veterans, 224 children, 48 adults age 60 and older, and 10 pregnant women. Over the past 13 years, the organization has achieved a 78.5% success rate while helping residents work toward stability, independence, and self-sufficiency.
Shared Blessings currently serves Farmington, Desloge, Park Hills, Leadington, Bonne Terre, Leadwood, Bismarck, and surrounding communities and counties.
