McIntyre Psychological Services Welcomes Heather Cox to the Team

McIntyre Psychological Services is excited to welcome Heather Cox to its growing team of mental health professionals.

Heather Cox is a second-year Master’s student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Central Methodist University, where she also earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology. She brings a strong academic foundation and a compassionate approach to client care, with a focus on helping individuals build self-awareness, manage emotions, and navigate life’s challenges.

Heather works with teens and adults and utilizes evidence-based approaches such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). She offers both in-person and telehealth sessions, providing flexibility and accessibility for clients seeking support.

Known for creating a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment, Heather is dedicated to meeting clients where they are and supporting growth at each individual’s pace.
