May Investor Connect Focuses on Mental Health in the Workplace

The Park Hills - Leadington Chamber of Commerce hosted its May Investor Connect at the Mineral Area College Tech Building, bringing together Chamber members, business leaders, and community partners for an afternoon focused on mental health awareness in the workplace.

The event was led by Chamber Board President Andy Inman and featured a presentation from Dr. Angela Webb of McIntyre Psychological Services. Dr. Webb spoke on recognizing signs of burnout, identifying mental health concerns within the workplace, and fostering healthier and more supportive work environments for employees and teams.

As part of the event, attendees participated in an interactive “Burnout Bingo” activity designed to encourage conversation and awareness surrounding common signs of workplace stress and exhaustion. The activity served as an engaging introduction to the afternoon’s discussion and reinforced the importance of prioritizing employee wellbeing in today’s workforce.

Lunch for the event was catered by Chamber member Riverside Grill, who provided attendees with a comfort food spread enjoyed throughout the networking and presentation portions of the afternoon.

The Chamber also extends its appreciation to Elite Partner Mineral Area College for hosting the event in the MAC Tech Building and for their continued support of Chamber programming and professional development opportunities within the community.

Investor Connect events are designed to provide Chamber members with meaningful networking opportunities, educational resources, and discussions surrounding topics that impact local businesses and organizations throughout the region.
