2026 Chamber’s Friend Award: Kyle Bonney

Good evening, everyone!!!

At the Park Hills–Leadington Chamber of Commerce, we are fortunate to work with so many businesses and individuals who care deeply about this community. But every once in a while, there is someone who quietly goes above and beyond, time after time, simply because they want to help.

Tonight’s award recognizes exactly that kind of person.

If you have ever helped with a Chamber event or a City of Park Hills event, you know that behind every parade, festival, car show, or community celebration, there is a lot of coordination happening that most people never see. One of the biggest challenges is logistics. Making sure routes are clear. Making sure things move safely. Making sure last-minute issues do not turn into big problems.

Over and over again, when the Chamber or the City has needed help with those behind-the-scenes details, this individual has answered the call. Sometimes with very little notice. Always with professionalism. Always with a calm, helpful attitude that immediately puts everyone at ease.

That same level of support extends beyond events. Kyle has also been a dependable resource for the City of Leadington, assisting officers when towing help is needed and stepping up with donations when support is requested. It is another example of how he consistently looks for ways to serve wherever there is a need. 

Kyle never asks for recognition. He just shows up, gets it done, and makes things easier for everyone involved. That kind of reliability is invaluable. It saves time, reduces stress, and helps our events run smoothly and safely so our community can simply show up and enjoy them.

His business, K Buckley Towing & Recovery, has become a trusted partner for both the Chamber and our local communities, not just because of the services provided, but because of the heart behind them. It is clear that community matters to him. 

And now, it is my honor to officially recognize that dedication.

Kyle, thank you for the countless times you have stepped in to help, often behind the scenes, without hesitation. Thank you for supporting our events, our volunteers, our local officers, and our communities in ways that truly make a difference.

Before we wrap up, I also want to recognize something very special. Behind this community-minded leader is a supportive and loving family. Kyle and his fiancée, Jaycie, recently welcomed a beautiful baby girl, and December 11, 2025, became the very best day of their lives. That joy, love, and sense of purpose shows through in everything he does, both at home and in our community.
