Parkland Health Center, part of BJC Health, provides a full continuum of inpatient and outpatient healthcare services to residents of St. Francois County and communities throughout southeastern Missouri.

Its full-service acute-care hospital in Farmington offers medical-surgical care, intensive care, obstetrics, emergency services, inpatient and outpatient surgery, imaging, laboratory services, rehabilitation, and numerous specialty services. Patients also have access to cancer care, infusion services, cardiology and vascular care, a cardiac catheterization lab, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, orthopedics, gastrointestinal care, diabetes services, mammography, pain management, respiratory care, sleep-disorder care, stroke care, women’s health, and wound care.

Parkland’s Childbirth Center provides care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum. Its maternity program has been recognized as a Birthing-Friendly hospital by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, and Parkland was named a 2026 High Performing hospital for Maternity Care by U.S. News & World Report.

Parkland Health Center also operates Missouri’s first Rural Emergency Hospital in Bonne Terre. That campus provides 24-hour emergency care, imaging, laboratory services, primary care, and sleep-disorder services. Together, the Farmington and Bonne Terre locations help provide patients with accessible healthcare, advanced medical technology, and connections to specialists from BJC Medical Group and WashU Medicine.
