Master Gardener Training Offered in Ste. Genevieve
Ste. Genevieve, Mo. – The Extension Master Gardener program provides in-depth horticultural training for Missourians who wish to share their knowledge of gardening. The Core Course training will be held on Monday nights, from July 14 to October 6, at 6–9 PM, at the Progress Sports Complex, which is located at 1300 Progress Parkway in Ste Genevieve. University of Missouri Extension to host a one-day Home Food Preservation Bootcamp
MU Extension is offering a Home Food Preservation Bootcamp that will feature the latest research and methods for water bath, steam, and pressure canning. This hands-on workshop will also include a hands-on demonstration of steam canning and pressure canning and each participant will take home a jar of their own. “In addition to basic procedures and steps to safe canning, we will share solutions to common canning problems and answer the most frequently asked questions,” explains Bethany Bachmann,
