Women’s Self-Defense Day Offers Empowering, Real-World Training for Women

Women across the community are invited to take part in Women’s Self-Defense Day, a free and empowering training opportunity designed to build confidence, awareness, and practical self-defense skills.

The event will take place Monday, March 3, from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. at the MAC Center Innovation Bay, located at 5270 Flat River Road in Park Hills.

Course instruction will be led by Tim Keck, who brings real-world experience and an approachable teaching style that participants have praised as simple, empowering, and even fun. The training focuses on practical techniques and strategies women can use in everyday situations to help protect themselves and increase personal confidence.

Women’s Self-Defense Day is free and open to all women, regardless of experience or fitness level. Participants will leave with valuable skills, increased awareness, and tools they can apply immediately in real-life scenarios.

This event is made possible with support from First State Community Bank and the MAC Center Innovation Bay at MAC Industry & Technology Center.

Space is limited, and RSVPs are required by February 27. To reserve a spot or for more information, contact Kristen at 573-705-3390.
