The Park Hills – Leadington Chamber of Commerce recently hosted its inaugural “Learn More.” Workshop, marking the beginning of a new educational series designed to provide practical, high-impact resources for local business owners and professionals.
The first session, Social Media Made Simple for Business Owners, was held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at the Cardinal Center on the campus of Mineral Area College. The workshop was presented by nationally recognized social media strategist Jill Sechrest-Wagner, who brings a following of more than three million across her platforms and extensive experience helping businesses grow their online presence.
Attendees received actionable insights focused on simplifying social media marketing, including strategies for content creation, audience engagement, and building a consistent and effective online presence. The session was designed to address common challenges faced by business owners, such as uncertainty around what to post, how often to post, and how to translate online engagement into real-world results.
The event also provided an opportunity for networking and collaboration among Chamber investors and community members, reinforcing the Chamber’s ongoing commitment to supporting local business growth through education and connection.
The “Learn More.” Workshop Series reflects the Chamber’s continued focus on delivering relevant, accessible programming that equips businesses with the tools they need to succeed in an evolving marketplace.
