Leadco Community Credit Union Announces Park Hills Branch Closure

Leadco Community Credit Union has announced that its branch located at 820 E. Main St. in Park Hills will permanently close effective Nov. 30, 2025.

The decision follows a careful review of operational factors, including rising costs, maintenance of the aging facility, staffing challenges, and employee safety concerns.

“This was not an easy decision,” the credit union’s board said in a statement. “For more than 72 years, Leadco has proudly served the Park Hills community, and we remain committed to providing exceptional service to our members throughout the region.”

Credit union officials emphasized that the closure will not impact members’ accounts or the security of their funds. All accounts will be automatically transferred to the nearest branch at 551 E. Karsch Blvd., Farmington, with no action required by members.

ATM services may remain available at the Park Hills site during the transition period and beyond.  Members who maintain a safe deposit box at the Park Hills branch are asked to remove all contents and close their boxes by November 1, 2025. Items may be retrieved during regular business hours prior to the deadline.

After the closure, members can continue to access their accounts through Leadco’s Farmington branch, ATMs, online and mobile banking, direct deposit, bill pay, and mobile check deposit. Leadco is also part of a shared branch network with more than 5,500 locations nationwide, allowing members to access services across the country.

Members with questions or in need of assistance during the transition are encouraged to contact Leadco Community Credit Union at 573-431-1882 (Park Hills) or 573-747-1882 (Farmington).

“We deeply appreciate the trust and loyalty of our Park Hills members and look forward to continuing to serve their financial needs for years to come,” the statement continued.
