FARMINGTON, MO (November 4, 2026) – The magic of Christmas is coming to Farmington as CASA of the Parkland prepares to host its annual Festival of Trees & Gingerbread Competition on Friday and Saturday, November 27–28, 2026, at the First State Community Center, located at 2 Black Knight Drive in Farmington.

The two-day celebration will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. each day, with free admission for the entire community.

Festival of Trees offers families an opportunity to kick off the holiday season while supporting an important local cause. The event will feature beautifully decorated Christmas trees and wreaths, a gingerbread competition, visits with Santa, children's activities, a sweets shop, trains, LEGOs, music, raffles, and a variety of other holiday attractions.

One of the event's highlights is the online silent auction, where participants can bid on beautifully decorated Christmas trees and wreaths. For those purchasing freestanding Christmas trees, TNT & Co. Moving Services will provide complimentary delivery within a 25-mile radius.

While the event promises plenty of Christmas cheer, its purpose extends far beyond holiday festivities.

All proceeds from Festival of Trees remain local, benefiting children in foster care through CASA of the Parkland. The organization works to ensure that children navigating the foster care system have a voice through Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), who advocate for their best interests.

Through community support and fundraising events such as Festival of Trees, CASA of the Parkland can continue its mission of making a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable children throughout the region.

The Park Hills–Leadington Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize CASA of the Parkland as a Chamber Investor and encourages residents, families, and businesses throughout the Parkland to support this festive community event.

Whether attending to admire the beautifully decorated trees, participate in the holiday activities, or bid on a special Christmas centerpiece, visitors will have an opportunity to create lasting memories while supporting children who need a voice.
