College Resource Officer
The Park Hills Police Department currently has an opening for the position of full-time college resource officer.
Qualified applicants must meet the following requirements:
Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent, be at least 21 years of age, and possess a Missouri Class A POST certification.
Applicants must possess a valid Missouri driver’s license, and no convictions or pending indictment for any felony, or any crimes related to domestic violence. Applicants must submit to a thorough background investigation which includes a drug screening.
Job Description:
- Provide proactive crime prevention on the college campus for students, faculty/staff, and guests of the college.
- Responsible for investigation of crimes on the college campus including mandated reporting (felonies) to law enforcement and misdemeanor law violations.
- Serve as a liaison between the Park Hills Police Department and the Mineral Area College.
- Perform other duties assigned by the college.
