Workshop - Making Your Vote Count: Participating in the Election Process
This informative workshop will be held at the LIFE Center located at 735 E. Karsch Blvd. in Farmington on Monday, September 29 at 10:30 am.
The St. Francois County Clerk’s office will present information about voter’s registration, how to use election machines and the voting process.
This workshop is available at no cost and open to anyone interested in learning more about voting.
Information will also be presented about accessible voting for people with disabilities. With proper procedures in place accessibility options may include: curbside voting, accessible polling places, audio voting, enlarged text and personal assistance.
Attendees may also register to vote or file a change of address at the workshop.
October 8th is the last day to register to vote in the up-coming general election on November 4th. Voters may register at age 17 ½ but must be 18 on Election Day in order to vote.
Please note, this workshop will not discuss the candidates or issues on the ballot.
