Certified Work Ready Communities Initiative for St. Francois County was certified in 2014.
The certification lasts for two years and is currently in the maintenance phase in order to earn or meet the next set of goals required.
The test taker goals have already been met through testing in the Missouri Job Center, Uni-Tec Career Center, and Mineral Area College.
The Missouri Job Center is currently meeting with area employers in order to reach that goal or requirement. 42% (about 40 local employers) have currently been signed up.
Missouri Job Center will hold a Recertification Reboot sign-up event in the Job Center on Tuesday, December 6th, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
