University of Missouri Extension Offers Free Virtual Class on Managing Chronic Diseases
Do you or someone you care for have diabetes, heart disease, asthma, arthritis, or any other ongoing health condition? If so, this class may be for you! The University of Missouri Extension is offering a free virtual class designed to help individuals manage these chronic conditions effectively.
Join Perry County Nutrition and Health Education Specialist Bethany Bachmann, a co-instructor, for the "Living a Healthy Life" Chronic Disease Self-Management Program. The class will be held on Mondays from August 12 to September 30, 2024, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm via Zoom.
Participants will learn practical techniques to manage their health conditions, including making small changes to routines, habits, and physical activities to improve their quality of life. This program is an excellent opportunity for those looking to take control of their health and well-being.
