Join us at the Slauterhouse Craft Parlour on Wednesday, July 27 as we help raise funds for the Park Hills Senior Center Meals On Wheels Program, which serves around 1,500 meals to seniors in the Park Hills, Desloge, Leadington, and Leadwood areas.
In addition to this program, the center offers dining and activities for seniors as well. As you might imagine, the increases all around have made it harder on seniors which has increased the number of people on each route. Food and meal containers cost the center roughly $18,000-$20,000 each month. Volunteers are also seeing the strain of rising gas prices as they deliver meals throughout the community.
Funds raised at this event will help provide food for the program.
10% of the proceeds raised from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm will benefit the Park Hills Senior Center – Meals on Wheels Program – so please plan on attending and invite your friends!!
