Ribbon Cutting & Mortgage Burning Ceremony!

 
The Park Hills - Leadington Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to invite the community to a special Mortgage Burning Ceremony hosted by the 1st Free Will Baptist Church on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at 2:30 p.m.

This joyous occasion celebrates the church paying off its mortgage through the faithfulness and generosity of its members. As the Bible says "Owe no one anything, except to love each other" (Romans 13:8), the congregation has achieved this remarkable milestone of being debt-free.

The celebration begins at 11:00 a.m. with a service of gratitude including encouragement from Missouri Free Will Baptist Executive Director Stan Bunch, Lead Pastor Joshua Kennon, Associate Pastor Matthew McElyea, and former Pastor Chuck Lotz.  

After the service, there will be a free BBQ lunch, inflatable games for kids, and musical performances by the Berry Singers. Don't miss the official Ribbon Cutting ceremony conducted by the Chamber at approximately 2:30 p.m.

This is a day to rejoice in what can be accomplished through shared faith, hard work, and commitment to a spiritual community. All are welcome to attend this inspiring event! The 1st Free Will Baptist Church is located at 300 Emerson Street, in Park Hills.
