Project Backpack for Christmas
In the 24th District, there are currently over 350 children and teens in the Foster Care Program. Due to circumstances beyond their control, when many of these children are removed from their homes they are only allowed to take the clothes on their backs.
"Project Backpack" helps these children transition into a new home by providing them with the "fresh start" items they need.
Beginning Monday, November 23rd and ending Friday, December 18th for every item you donate, the Park Hills Public Library will forgive $1.00 in overdue fines.
