Our annual Holiday Investor Breakfast returns on TUESDAY, December 9th, at 8:30 AM at the White Magnolia Banquet Hall. Plan for about an hour and a half. It is a festive morning full of laughter, friendly competition, and holiday cheer.
THE GREAT HOLIDAY GIFT AUCTION
Get ready for “The Great Holiday Gift Auction,” our playful gift exchange where everyone becomes a high roller for the morning. Bring a wrapped $10 to $15 gift, and you will receive $500 in Chamber Bucks to bid in a live, good-natured auction. The gifts will be numbered and described by our very dramatic auction host. Some gifts will be delightful. Others will be… entertaining. And yes, the mysterious “wild card” gifts will make the game even more fun. Pool your Chamber Bucks, outbid your friends, and enjoy the chaos.
SNOW MUCH LOVE: BACKPACK DRIVE
This year, our Chamber wants to help support the children right here in our own community.
To receive your free breakfast catered by Glenda Straughn, please bring a donation for the Central Backpack Program. All items must be non-refrigerated. Suggested items include:
- Small containers of peanut butter and jelly
- Ramen noodles
- Microwavable macaroni and cheese cups
- Soups with pull-tab lids
- Instant oatmeal packets
- Beef sticks
- Chef Boyardee pull-tab meals
- Dinty Moore microwavable dinners
- SpaghettiO’s pull-tab cans
- Single-serving cereal
- Peanut butter crackers
- Granola bars or fruit bars
- Rice Krispies Treats
- Individually packaged Goldfish or Cheez-Its
Every donation helps a student head home with food for the weekend. Your generosity makes a real difference.
UGLY SWEATER CONTEST RETURNS
Show off your most spectacularly awful holiday sweater. The ugliest sweater wins a $15 Perfect Pick Gift Card just in time for the season.

Topics range from small business information to governmental issues and assistance to community interests. Monthly meetings keep investors abreast of current chamber happenings and provide an excellent networking opportunity.
