Broadway's Next H!t Musical Coming on April 2
There’s no telling what they’ll say or do.
Broadway’s Next H!t Musical, a fast-paced, improvisational musical comedy, will be performed on Saturday, April 2, at 7 p.m. at the Centene Center. Reserved seating is $17.50, but discounted pricing is available for groups of 10 or more. Tickets may be purchased at the Farmington Civic Center or charged by phone at (573) 756-0900. Tickets go on sale at 9 am, Friday, Feb. 12. The full-of-surprises performance is being sponsored by Mineral Area Council on the Arts and the City of Farmington.
“Members of the council who saw a snippet of their performance immediately thought, ‘hit,’” Basler said. “The best way to describe the show is “Whose Line is it Anyway?” meets Broadway musical. It’s a lot of fun and we’re excited to be able to bring this high-quality theatrical show from New York to Farmington!”
Broadway’s Next H!T Musical is the only unscripted theatrical awards show. Master improvisers gather made-up, hit song suggestions from the audience and create a spontaneous evening of music, humor, and laughter. The audience votes for its favorite song and watches as the cast turns it into a full-blown improvised musical - complete with memorable characters, witty dialogue, and plot twists galore. BNHM has been seen recently at The Triad, Tribeca Film Festival, and at the New York Musical Theater Festival, among many others.
