The Park Hills Parks & Recreation Department is excited to announce one surprise addition to the summer concerts slated for the 2018 Park Hills Summer Concert Series!
Join us at the Columbia Park Amphitheater from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, August 31, 2018, as we welcome "The United States Air Force Shades of Blue Band" to the stage!
The United States Air Force Shades of Blue jazz ensemble is proud to present a night of music at the Columbia Park Amphitheater.
Based out of Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, the Shades of Blue is a group of 13 professional musicians whose music inspires patriotism, connects communities with military service members and honors our country’s veterans. A performance of the Shades of Blue ensemble can include pieces by contemporary jazz composers, Count Basie or Maj. Glenn Miller. The band features instrumental and vocal soloists and compositions/arrangements by the members of the band.
- All the concerts are FREE to the public.
- All concerts will be held at the Park Hills Amphitheater in Columbia Park with the exception of the July 4th concert, which will be held at the Park Hills Sports Complex prior to the City's Annual Fireworks Display.
- Guests should bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating.
- No alcohol is allowed at the concerts.
