The Park Hills Parks & Recreation Department is Celebrating their 20th Year of Summer Concerts in 2019!
The sixth and final concert of the series is scheduled for Friday, August 9, 2019, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and features "Last Dance", Sponsored by The Park Hills - Leadington Chamber of Commerce!
Last Dance features the music of Tom Petty. The band was formed in the wake of Tom Petty's passing in late 2017. They carefully crafted their sound and song list to make the most of Tom Petty's uniques sound and extensive catalogue. The group also included songs by contemporaries like The Traveling Wilburys, Bob Dylan, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Steve Earle, and The Allman Brothers. They continue to refine their craft and play live throughout the Southeast Missouri region.
This concert will be held at the Columbia Park Amphitheater. Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair for seating along with your favorite drinks and snacks. No alcoholic beverages are allowed in Columbia Park.
Summer concerts are hosted by the Park Hills Parks & Recreation Department. All concerts are FREE to the public!
