In 2013, Missouri saw significant changes in several areas impacting the Workers' Compensation system. New legislation on Second Injury Fund Cases and Occupational Diseases became effective in August. Changes in the way minor injuries should be handled have also been implemented. Several court cases are poised to change the landscape as well. Each of these changes could impact your work comp costs.
This seminar will offer:
- Practical training, including case studies and the opportunity to ask questions of workers' compensation issue experts.
- An easy-to-understand, comprehensive discussion on Missouri's experience rating formula, status of the split-point value and the Second Injury Fund and occupational disease due to toxic exposure.
- A clear understanding of recent workers compensation changes and have a preview of issues before the court.
