17th Annual Missouri Mines Rock Swap

This is one of ...if not the largest Rock Show/Swap in Missouri. We have 99 spaces and at times more when we fill overflow set up areas. Last year we were full and filled 104 spaces. This is an outdoor event, FREE to the public to come see. Historic Mines site and Museum is Free to see during the Event. Nominal Space rental to dealers. Rock Swap is the second weekend in June ( the weekend after the annual Farmington Country Days). This year we are scheduled June 14-15-16, 2014.

We will start mailings to last years Dealers that set up in 2013 in January 2014 for registration. These first packets will be mailed out by the week of January 27th, 2014 to these dealers first.

Second dealer mailings will be mailed out by the week of February 24th, 2014. I will not know space availability until After March 17th, 2014. However, spaces may become available as Dealers notify me before the deadline March 14th, 2014 that they are canceling for 2014.

We will start a registrations waiting list in January 2014 for new dealers and dealers who borrowed a space from a paid dealer's space last year. The Dealers who paid and did not participate last year who requested their space reserved this year and paid for their space. These dealers will also need to pay for their spaces this year as they forfeit the space fee last year to hold their space for this year Show. They should receive their packets first round in January. We can only do this one time. So if a dealer cancels and is a no show the second year, they will forfeit their space(s).

Dealers placed on waiting list will be called as spaces become available on first one who first responds to my phone call/emails. Second round dealers will have one week to get fees and registration mailed in upon notification of a space availability made or other prior arrangements made with Chairperson. Available spaces after March 18th, 2013 deadline is on a first come first serve basis as stated.

May 30th, 2014 will be the last day to have all fees and reservations in by if not done so. This will allow plenty of time to have your fees mailed in by start of the Swap. If spaces are not paid in full by this date we can not insure it will be available upon arrival to the Swap. As any unreserved spaces that are not paid in full on June 13th, 2014 as Dealers are allowed in to set up will be given to first come first serve basis.

Please note that last year are Rock Swap spaces were full and we had to squeeze in 4 more dealers. Some dealers wishing to come from a far did not come at all and are on our list due to no spaces available last year. So PLEASE!!! Register your spaces as soon as possible. When your packets arrive, REGISTER! Not put it off! I will do all I can to call or email those I have current updated contact information on that may forget. Please do not count on me contacting you if you forget to register. If past deadline I can not guarantee your space or another space will be available. If you have any questions or concerns please let me know.

If you wish to rent tables you will need to let me or the Mines Museum (Art Hebrank) know ASAP. I do not have this years prices from the rental place at this time. As soon as we get a price list I will let you know. Before we can reserve your rental tables we will need your payment in advanced for the number of tables you request. I hope to know more information sometime in March. Thank you for your patience. Table fees should be sent on separate check with memo of number of tables and your space number/Name etc...
