Summer Movie in COLUMBIA Park - "The Secret Life of Pets"
Serenity HospiceCare, together with American Family Insurance, The City of Park Hills, The Park Hills - Leadington Chamber of Commerce, and Central R3 School is excited to present the second movie in this year's Park Hills "Summer Movies in the Park" series!
Join us on Saturday, July 8th at the Amphitheater in Columbia Park for the movie "The Secret Life of Pets"!
The Secret Life of Pets Storyline
Taking place in a Manhattan apartment building, Max's life as a favorite pet is turned upside down, when his owner brings home a sloppy mongrel named Duke. They have to put their quarrels behind when they find out that an adorable white bunny named Snowball is building an army of lost pets determined to take revenge
This is a FREE event! Bring a blanket or lawn chair, snacks & drinks. Activities 1-Hour prior to the start of the movie!Snowball learns what it feels like to be heroic. you can be heroic by supporting Serenity's Carter's Clubhouse, a peer support group for children who have suffered the death of someone close to them.
Serenity HospiceCare will be hosting a pet parade, through the park! Your well-behaved, leashed pet can join us in an organized walk around the park, showing off their awesome parading skills, maybe a few tricks, and even their cutest outfit. Your pet could be awarded “Best Dressed”, “Best Pet/Owner Look Alike”, or “Most Unique”. The first 100 kids, aged 12 and under, will receive a small participation gift. Activities will begin an hour before the movie.
Registration is not necessary. Just join us in Columbia Park for a great movie, and some quality time with your favorite pet.
Bring an extra chew toy or a can of pet food, too, to support our local animal shelter!
