Park Hills Summer Concert Series - August 23, 2013

The Park Hills Parks & Recreation Department is excited to announce concert #5 of it's 6-concert series slated for 2013!
Sponsored by Ken's Cards & Coins, bluegrass lovers will stomp to the beats of "Open Range Bluegrass Band" 7-9 p.m. on August 23 at the Columbia Park Amphitheater.
Open Range Bluegrass Band is a diverse and entertaining 6 piece band blended with the good ol' tradition of Bluegrass, Country, and Gospel. From heartbreakers to jump up and jig tunes, you're sure to leave an Open Range Show touched by the music and the personality of this band.
The Arcadia Valley band has many years of combined professional experience. Band member Don Goff, plays Banjo, Dobro, Guitar and Vocals, Bo Riddle on Fiddle and Mandolin and is also a Nashville Songwriter/Singer. Jim and Sharon Randolph also contribute with Jim on the Dobro, Guitar, Vocals and a beautiful smile. Sharon with strong vocals and a lot of mixing it up with the crowd, she also plays Guitar on a few special tunes. Then there is Preston Browers on Bass and a jig, and his wife Connie on Tenor Vocals.

The City of Park Hills would like to remind guests that all the concerts are FREE to the public. Guests should bring a lawn chair, as no seating is available. No alcohol is allowed at the concerts. For more information, contact the Park Hills Parks & Recreation Department.
