MAC Theatre Guild to Present "Lovers, Liars and Rock & Roll"
Lies and love triangles abound in Mineral Area College Little Theatre Guild’s latest comedic musical, “Lovers, Liars and Rock & Roll,” written by former MAC Theatre Director, Rick Giles.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and performance is at 7 p.m., Dec. 4 – 7 at MAC’s Fine Arts Theatre on the Park Hills campus. Tickets are purchased at the MAC Bookstore, $3 MAC students and senior citizens, $7 general admission.
A story of lost love and re-kindled romance, “Lovers, Liars, and Rock & Roll” features familiar rock hits past and present, with a cast of characters that will keep you on your toes with their astonishing antics!
Theatre Director Chuck Gallaher said the farcical comedy is an original creation of former MAC theatre director Rick Giles, who is the creator of such rollicking past productions as the “Toby Show,” “Scapino: The Musical,” and “Rockin’ Christmas Carol”.
“We’re grateful that Rick’s returned to share another one of his great talents, playwriting,” Gallaher said. “He was my instructor when I came to MAC and so it’s a great joy to be able to work shoulder to shoulder together with the guy who encouraged me to pursue a career in the theatre.”

- Eddie: Drake L. Ackley, Ironton, MO
- Yvette: Shiloh Burt, De Soto, MO
- Moody: Will Holifield, Rogers, AR
