Parkland PRC Seeks Walk for Life Sponsors!

Did You Know??

  • The PRC is not a government social program. Instead, it is an opportunity for people to invest in people. Rather than relying on taxpayer dollars with many strings attached, the Parkland PRC is funded by local people who choose to invest in the lives and futures of their neighbors. Additionally, those who give $100 or more to the PRC, (a 501(c)3 nonprofit), qualify to apply for a Missouri Tax Credit. 70% of your donation could be credited to your Missouri taxes. (The Tax Credit Application is available upon request.)

  • All services and programs at the PRC are FREE!! There are no income qualifications or insurance requirements meaning ANYONE is welcome because we want to reach EVERYONE with hope for life and the future.

  • Still, the PRC is not a handout! The Earn While You Learn Program is a great tool not only teaching clients parenting techniques, and life skills, but also accountability through points earned by participating in the program. Points can be spent on diapers, wipes, and baby or personal care items.

In the past the Parkland PRC has hosted a Walk for Life fundraiser, however, in light of what has taken place in recent months, we are upgrading this event to a Celebration of Life & Walk. This campaign will help fund the free services and programs that are offered through the center. The goal for this event is $20,000. The funds will go directly to the programs and services that the center provides free to the community. In order to reach the goal, the Parkland PRC is asking for businesses and individuals to sponsor this event.

By becoming an underwriter, you help cover the costs of the event so that funds raised will go directly toward the PRC programs and services. Attached is a sponsorship form explaining the different levels you can choose from.  Underwriters will be featured on a banner as well as recognized during the program.

This year the PRC’s Celebration of Life & Walk will take place on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at the Central High School track. Registration will begin at 10 a.m. with the Rally starting at 11 a.m. We would love for you to join us.

Thank you for all that you do for the community. More than ever, we are trusting God to supply needs in ways that bring us closer to Him.
