Parkland Health Center is pleased to announce that Danny Parmley has been selected as the ICARE Star Service Team Member for March 2019.  Danny works in the facilities management department and has worked at Parkland Health Center for twenty years.

Excerpts from Danny’s nomination read,” [Danny] is an example of someone who lives and breathes the PHC values.  He remains calm, kind and friendly when interacting with everyone.  He takes ownership of any task he is asked to do and does it well.   He takes the time to listen and responds with kindness to any facility management issue in the department.”

When asked what he likes about his job, Danny replied, “I just like serving people; to me, that’s just what it’s about.” When asked how he felt about receiving this award, he said, “It’s humbling.  I am very grateful.”  This is the second time Danny has been honored with this award; the first was in 2007.
