Parkland Health Center Breaks Ground on the Construction of State-of-the-Art Medical Office Building

Parkland Health Center marked a significant milestone on Monday, August 18, 2023, with the official groundbreaking ceremony for a cutting-edge Medical Office Building. The facility, spanning over 30,000 square feet, is set to revolutionize primary care services within the region. 

Situated on a newly acquired seven-acre parcel adjacent to the hospital, the Medical Office Building project is poised to redefine healthcare accessibility for the community. Anticipated for completion by November 2024, the project represents a $23.1 million investment in advancing local healthcare infrastructure.

The strategic location of the facility on Hazel Lane, within the northeast corner of the property, ensures convenient access for residents. Parkland Health Center's primary care services, encompassing family medicine and internal medicine providers, will find a new home in this state-of-the-art structure. Alongside primary care, the facility will offer advanced laboratory and imaging services, as well as a retail pharmacy – complete with a drive-through option, catering to the evolving needs of the community.

The Medical Office Building's completion is projected to foster greater flexibility within the existing medical office building, paving the way for the incorporation of additional specialized medical services. With the capacity to accommodate up to 23 primary care providers, this innovative structure underscores Parkland Health Center's dedication to comprehensive and patient-centered care.
