DESCRIPTION:As a small business owner\, hiring employees can be a trial and error exercise. The right one was hired then for some reason\, did not work out. The questions of why and how can I get better at hiring often come to mind.\n\n \n\nA class\, offered by the University of Missouri Extension Small Business Technology and Development Center of Cape Girardeau County\, will address those questions and more on Thursday\, April 23 at 6pm.  The offering will be at the MU Extension office at 137 W Main in Fredericktown\, MO.\n\n \n\nThe class offers methods to improve a company's hiring process and identify the top performer out of the applicant pool.\n\n \n\nConstance Hoffman is the facilitator for this class.  She lived in California before moving to the Rolla area where she worked with both large and small companies and associations. Her company\, Social and Business Graces\, Inc.\, is a training company on business topics. It is dedicated to helping small business owners learn practical tips to succeed in today's business world.\n\n \n\nThere is a deadline for registration of Thursday\, April 16 to make sure enough materials are available to attendees. To register\, please call 573-243-3581 or email profferrd@missouri.edu. The registration fee will be required to ensure a seat at the seminar.
