DESCRIPTION:This two-hour workshop is designed to educate Business Owners and Entrepreneurs who need to raise funds from external lenders (SBA/Banks\, Venture Capital) to finance their business operations.  This workshop is for businesses in start-up\, continuing or growth phases. \n\n\n\nIn this workshop you will learn about: \n\n\n	The information required for lenders - Historical Performance\, Projections\, Assumptions on Growth and Market Share\, Price and Cost     \n	External Sources of Information\n	Financial Projection (Worksheet) - Profit & Loss Statement\, Cash Flow\, Balance Sheet \n\nAttendees are expected to have basic knowledge of and ability to interpret the components of a Profit & Loss Statement\, Cash Flow Statement and a Balance Sheet.\n\n\n\nSpeaker's Bio:\n\nRajiv Gupta\, SCORE Mentor\, has 40+ years of (US and European-based) experience with multinational/international corporations as well as small businesses in the areas of business management\, finance\, marketing/sales\, business mergers/acquisition (buy side and sell side)\, joint venture formation\, currency hedging contracts and valuation of technology in both B2B and B2C markets in the USA\, Europe\, Middle-East\, Asia and Africa. \n\n\n\nAs Hold-Separate Trustee for the US Federal Trade Commission and the European Mergers & Acquisition Task Force overseeing business divestiture he oversaw  the divestiture of Solvay's Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) business to 3M.
