DESCRIPTION:Attracting and retaining top talent is key to organizational growth. This workshop will use the SWOT (Strengths\, Weaknesses\, Opportunities and Threats) approach for protecting and growing  your talent for organizational success. \n\n\n\nA critical ingredient for the success of a small business is finding\, hiring and retaining the best employees.  Retention and succession planning is a major concern for many small businesses with long-term employees.  This workshop is for both profit and non-profit businesses and will cover the following topics:\n\n	Recruitment Practices\n	Retention Challenges\n	Business Impacts\n\n\n\n\nSpeaker - Caprice C. Moore\, D.Mgt.\, Webster University\n\n\n\nCaprice C. Moore is Director of Operations for Webster University's Walker School of Business & Technology\, St. Louis\, Missouri.  In this role\, Caprice serves as the Chief of Staff and is responsible for leading the overall strategic planning and day to day administrative and facility operations\; human resources\, procurement and budget management. She is also responsible for building relationships with universities\, corporate partners and nonprofit organizations.\n\n\n\nUnder Moore's leadership\, she has implemented diversity\, total quality management and customer excellence programs that align with the mission and goals of the organization.  Moore holds a doctorate degree in Management\, a master's degree in Gerontology\, and bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management.\n\n\n\nMoore is a member of the St. Louis Bar Association\, Society of Human Resources Management Association and serves as diversity committee member with the Human Resource Management   St. Louis Chapter.  She is a graduate of the FOCUS   Leadership St. Louis Class of 2011-2012\, and regularly volunteers with SCORE and the Independence Center.
