Parkland will also offer a limited number of screening mammograms for $25 for women who are currently uninsured. \n\n\n\nIf you need health insurance\, our Certified Application Counselor (CAC) will be available to walk you through your options on the Health Insurance Market Place. The Affordable Care Act has set a deadline of March 31 to secure health insurance coverage\, or individuals may incur penalties.\n\n\n\nThe event is free of charge\, for anyone interested. Health screenings and health insurance counseling will take place near the new location for Parkland's Wound and Diabetic Care Centers (where the old emergency department used to be). \n\n\n\nParkland Health Center is part of BJC HealthCare which also includes St. Louis Children's Hospital and Barnes-Jewish Hospital\, the teaching hospitals for Washington University School of Medicine.
