SUMMARY:MAC Theatre Guild to Present "Rumors"
DESCRIPTION:Neil Simon's comedy "Rumors" will be brought to the stage by Mineral Area College's Little Theatre Guild.\n\n \n\nDoors open at 6:30 p.m. and performances are at 7 p.m. nightly\, Feb. 19-21\, in the Fine Arts Theatre at the Park Hills Campus. Tickets are available at the MAC Bookstore or at the door on the night of the performances\, and are $7 general admission\, or $3 for MAC students and senior citizens.\n\n \n\nThe play begins as four couples arrive at the townhouse of a deputy New York City mayor and his wife to attend a party celebrating their tenth wedding anniversary. However\, the four couples soon discover there are no servants\, the hostess is missing and the deputy mayor has shot himself in the head (it's only a flesh wound). Comic complications arise when\, given everyone's upper class status\, they decide they need to do everything possible to conceal the evening's events from the local police and the media.\n\n\n\nThis play contains some "blue" language and adult content\, and may not be suitable for children.
