DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the November Investor Meeting on Tuesday\, November 18th at\, 12:00 p.m. at the Mineral Area College\, North College Center in Park Hills.\nLunch to be Catered by Mineral Area College. And will be $10.00 per person.  RESERVATIONS REQUESTED!\n\nOur November presenter is Mr. Randy Davis\, Education Coordinator for the St. Francois County Ambulance District.\n\n\n\nMr. Davis will tell us how disaster preparedness can preserve market share.  We will discuss the value of disaster preparedness for businesses and their employees. Davis will also share with us a history of businesses that had a plan\, those that didn't\, and how each scenario affected their businesses.\n\n\n\nAbout The Presenter:\n\n\n\nRandy Davis has been a gubernatorial appointee to the Missouri State Advisory Council on EMS from 1998 to 2013 and is a Nationally-Registered Paramedic.  Mr. Davis is a licensed Paramedic in Missouri and Kentucky.  He is a contract subject matter expert instructor for the Federal Emergency Management Agency teaching Integrated Emergency Management Courses at the National Emergency Training Center in Emmitsburg\, Maryland. \n\n\n\nRandy holds an Associate's Degree in Emergency Medical Technology from Jefferson College and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Fontbonne University.  Mr. Davis completed his Paramedic training at St. Louis University in 1981.  He is an EMS Instructor and Regional and Training Center Faculty for the American Heart Association for CPR\, Pediatric Advanced Life support\, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.  Mr. Davis is an instructor or affiliate faculty in multiple nationally-accredited emergency medical and life support classes.\n\n\n\nRandy and his wife\, Kathy\, a registered nurse\, enjoy sailing their 41 sailboat at Kentucky Lake and chartering sailboats.  They also enjoy cruising.\n\n\n\nThe November Business Spotlight is Serenity HospiceCare.\n\n \nMonthly investor meetings provide Chamber investors with a variety of information through guest speakers.  Topics range from small business information to governmental issues and assistance to community interests.  Monthly meetings keep investors abreast of current chamber happenings\, and provide an excellent networking opportunity.
