DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the May Investor Meeting on Tuesday\, May 21\, 2019\, at\, 12:00 p.m. at Mineral Area College's North College Center.\n\nLunch will be catered by MAC's American Vending Corp. and available for purchase at a cost of $10.00 per person for Chamber Investors or $15 per person for Non-Chamber Investors.\n\n\n\nOur May Menu is as follows: \n\nHamburgers\, Potato Salad\, Baked Beans\, Fruit Salad\, Dessert\, Tea & Water\n\n\n\nRESERVATIONS REQUIRED!\nThis's we will be joined by Michael Sweeney\, the Missouri Bicentennial coordinator for the State Historical Society of Missouri.\n\nAugust 10\, 2021\, will mark the two hundredth anniversary of Missouri's entry as the 24th state to enter the United States. A state with many different regional cultures\, geographies\, and industries\, each Missouri community\, county\, and region has a story to tell about its people\, their history\, their commerce\, and their culture. By celebrating the accomplishments and diversity of all these regions\, we help create a better understanding of our one Missouri and the ties that bind us together.\n\nA successful commemoration of Missouri's two hundredth year will engage all 114 counties and the City of St. Louis in a meaningful look at the Show-Me State's past\, present\, and future. Missourians will reflect on the events that have shaped their communities\, counties\, regions\, and the entire State\, while starting a new chapter in its' unique history.\n\nMr. Sweeney will be telling us about planned and proposed activities for the Missouri Bicentennial\, as well as\, telling us was in which we as a community can get involved! Topics range from small business information to governmental issues and assistance to community interests.  Monthly meetings keep investors abreast of current chamber happenings and provide an excellent networking opportunity.\nCANCELLATION POLICY:\n\nAll cancellations must be made by 3:00 p.m. the day before the meeting.  Cancellations made after 3:00 p.m. and/or 'no-show' guests will be invoiced and payment is expected.
