SUMMARY:Investor Meeting - March 20\, 2018
DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the March Investor Meeting on Tuesday\, March 20\, 2018\, at\, 12:00 p.m. at Mineral Area College's North College Center.\n\nLunch will be catered by MAC and available for purchase at a cost of $10.00 per person. \n\n\n\nOur March Menu is as follows: \n\nMeatloaf\, Scalloped Potatoes\, Green Beans\, Salad\, Rolls\, Dessert\, Tea & Water\n\n\n\nRESERVATIONS REQUIRED!\nThis's month's speaker will be Tom Murphy\, who will be introducing the Missouri Chamber Federation MEWA Benefit Plan.\n\n\n\nWhat is it? It's a new approach to medical plans for small employers!\n\n\n\nAs today's small businesses continue to search for cost-saving health coverage options\, the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) and the Missouri Chamber Federation (MCF) have taken action to help. MCCI and MCF have teamed up with Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Missouri to create a new health program that can lead to more rate stability and is a smart solution that offers potential savings for groups with 50 or fewer eligible employees.\n\n\n\nThis new self-funded medical offering\, called the MCF Benefit Plan\, is a multiple employer welfare arrangement (MEWA). MEWAs enable smaller employers to join together to share in the overall claims risk. By being a part of a larger\, self-funded pool\, employers have financial protection backed by Anthem's stop loss coverage.\n\n\n\nIn addition to financial protection\, this innovative alternative offers:\n\n	Competitive\, medically underwritten rates\n	Fixed\, predictable monthly payments\n	A variety of plan designs\, including 10 PPO and 3 HSA options\n	Anthem's Blue Access\, Blue Access Choice\, Blue Preferred networks and Traditional Open formulary\n	Coverage for claims run-out/ terminal liability coverage\n\n\n\nLearn more at the March Investor Meeting!!\n\n \nOur March Business Spotlight is on Bullseye Equipment & Tool Rental!\n\n \nMonthly investor meetings provide Chamber investors with a variety of information through guest speakers. Topics range from small business information to governmental issues and assistance to community interests. Monthly meetings keep investors abreast of current chamber happenings and provide an excellent networking opportunity.
