DESCRIPTION:NOTICE! Due to the health concerns related to the Coronavirus\, Mineral Area College campus is now closed to all events for the next few weeks. Because of time restraints associated with relocating and catering\, as well as\, our concerns for the wellbeing of our Investors\, the Chamber's Board of Directors has opted to cancel this month's Investor Meeting. We apologize for the short notice and look forward to seeing you all at the April Investor Meeting.\n\n\n\nPlease join us for the March Investor Meeting on Tuesday\, March 17\, 2020\, at\, 12:00 p.m. at Mineral Area College's North College Center.\n\n\n\nThis Month's Program:\n\nThis month's agenda will be a presentation given by Central Superintendent\, Ashley McMillian. After nearly a year as Superintendent\, Dr. McMillian will be talking to us about many great improvements and changes coming to Central Schools\, as well as\, telling us about Proposition S.A.F.E.\, their plan for a six million dollar\, no tax increase bond issue.\n\n\n\nThis Month's "Center Stage Investor":\n\nPatsy's Furniture! Join us at their location on March 6th for the First Friday Coffee and then learn more about them as they take Center Stage for a 3-minute commercial at this month's Investor Meeting!\n\nThis Month's Menu:\n\nMeatloaf\, Scalloped Potatoes\, Green Beans\, Salad\, Rolls\, Dessert\, Tea & Water.\n\nLunch will be catered by MAC's American Vending Corp. and available for purchase at a cost of $10.00 per person for Chamber Investors or $15 per person for Non-Chamber Investors. \n\n\n\nRESERVATIONS REQUIRED!\n\n50/50 Drawing! Be sure to bring a $1 to be entered for a chance to win some cash!\n\n\n\nMonthly investor meetings provide Chamber investors with a variety of information through guest speakers.  Topics range from small business information to governmental issues and assistance to community interests.  Monthly meetings keep investors abreast of current chamber happenings and provide an excellent networking opportunity.
