DESCRIPTION:Mineral Area Council on the Arts has plans to keep the winter blues away as they bring the a capella group Vocal Edge to the Fine Arts Theater on Mineral Area College's Park Hills campus. The performance is set for 7 p.m.\, Saturday\, March 18. \n\n \n\nTickets are $10 and may be purchased online via Eventbrite.com\, at the Mineral Area College Bookstore\, and at the door as supplies last. Arts Council Executive Director Danielle Basler said tickets to the concert would make a perfect holiday gift for that hard-to-buy-for person in your life.\n\n \n\n"These guys are stellar performers who put on a high-energy show that makes you forget that their voices are the only instruments\," Basler said. "The concert will appeal to music lovers of all ages. No matter if your first introduction to a cappella was years ago when you enjoyed a barbershop quartet or just this year when you stumbled upon a great beatboxer on YouTube\, you'll love Vocal Edge!"\n\n \n\nVocal Edge is the premier professional men's a cappella group in St. Louis\, performing all a cappella music ranging from classic pop songs of the '50s and '60s\, to current pop songs\, jazz and doo-wop. "Many in the area will remember them as the entertainment at the 2016 Park Hills-Leadington Chamber Banquet\," Basler said.
