DESCRIPTION:13th Annual Park Hills - Leadington Chamber of Commerce Firecracker Run\n\nBenefiting the Park Hills - Leadington Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund!\n\n\n\nSaturday\, June 25\, 2016\n\nBegins & Ends at Central High School\n\n	1-Mile Walk\n	1-Mile Run\n	5K Walk\n	5K Run\n	T-Shirts to the First 150 Entries\n	Timed By Cape Road Runners\n	All Ages Welcome\n\n\n\nEvent Details:\n\n	Age Groups:  Under 8\, 8-10\, 11-13\, 14-16\, 17-19\, 20-29\, 30-39\, 40-49\, 50-59\, 60 & Up. \n	Awards:  Awards to top overall male and female and top three male/female per category in 1-Mile and 5K Runs.  All finishing 1-Mile & 5K Walkers will receive participation ribbons.\n	The Course:  The race will begin and end at Central High School.  Check with the Chamber closer to the run date for specific course details.  Miles will be marked. \n	Official Timing: 1-Mile & 5K Runners will be timed by the Cape Road Runners. 1-Mile & 5K WALKERS will NOT be timed.\n	Shirts:  Commemorative shirt to the first 150 entrants.  Sizes based on availability.\n	Early Registration:  Registration fee if paid by June 24th - Individual $15.00\, Family $35.00.  \n	Race Day Fees:  Registration fee if paid on Race Day - $18.00 for each runner/walker.\n	Family Discounts: not available on Race Day.\n	Registration/ Check In: begins at 7:00 a.m. on race day.\n	The 1-Mile Run & 1-Mile Walk begins at 8:00 a.m.  The 5K Walk will begin following the will begin following the start of the 1-Mile race.  The 5K Run will begin following the conclusion of the 1-Mile Run.\n\nA portion of your registration fee goes to the Park Hills - Leadington Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund.  Providing a graduating\, Central High School Student\, who will be attending one of our local colleges - Mineral Area College\, Central Methodist University\, or Missouri Baptist University - with a $2\,000* scholarship to assist with tuition\, books\, and/or other college necessities.\n\n\n\n*$500 per semester\, renewable for up to four consecutive semesters
