Alzheimer's Association Fundraiser at Farmington Water Park Rescheduled
KFMO/B104 Night at the Farmington Water Park has been rescheduled and will be Monday night, July 23rd from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. All the proceeds from this annual event go to a different local charity or organization. This year, all the funds raised will go to the Alzheimer's Association. Families can enjoy the water park for a couple of hours and help out a great cause. Admission to attend the fundraiser is only a minimum donation of one dollar per person.
There will also be a ping-pong ball race down the Lazy River and raffle tickets available for purchase for various prizes.
“Being local radio stations, giving back to our community and helping raise money for organizations is very important to us,” said KFMO/B104 Vice President/General Manager Larry Joseph. “This annual fundraiser is a great way for families to enjoy the water park and also help raise money for the Alzheimer's Association.”
The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support, and research. The organization's mission is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
